Dental Prostheses

These are artificial teeth in order to correct the problems caused by deteriorated teeth or missing teeth in the mouth. They can be mobile or fixed. If there is no abutment tooth in the mouth or there is a limited number of abutments, especially if the molars are lost, removable dentures (total or partial) are applied. In this type of prosthesis, the support comes from tissue partially or fully and also from the teeth. The aim is to restore the lost aesthetics, speech and eating functions of the patient. Fixed dentures are preferred if there are fewer missing teeth in the mouth or if there are damaged images in the existing teeth. There are many varieties with many materials along with dental support, it provides both comfort, functionality and aesthetics easily.

Nowadays they are the most preferred option. Regardless of total teeth losses, dental implants as supportive teeth can be utilized and applied.
